About the jobAre you eligible for an internship ?Internship related to your field of studyFull-time (usually 35 hours per week)Normal duration of 15 weeks (minimum of 12 weeks)Mandatory paidSupervisedFrom January 6th to April 18th 2025Intern, General Secretary Department - Danone CanadaYour main mission will be to support the function of the General Secretariat, covering the following areas: public affairs, internal and external communications, and regulatory affairs. Every day, you will contribute to promoting healthy eating among stakeholders, as well as through numerous initiatives that have a significant impact on the creation and maintenance of Danone Canada's reputation.More specifically :Conduct research and prepare files to support advocacy efforts on Danone Canada's political and regulatory priorities with provincial stakeholders (e.g., support in preparing key messages and monitoring the deployment of provincial government strategies in agri-food).Coordinate and plan meetings with provincial government representatives and other public affairs events, particularly within the framework of Quebec's Provincial Strategy for the Reduction and Responsible Management of Plastics.Support the senior manager in government affairs in coordinating and planning internal meetings of the co-financing committee and contribute to the implementation of an effective collaboration strategy with corporate and plant teams.Support the General Secretariat team on various ongoing mandates.#LI-NORAM#LI-HYBRIDAbout youRequirements :The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:Good command of written and spoken French and EnglishAnalytical and synthesis skills, solution-oriented attitudeAbility to communicate simply and effectivelyGreat resourcefulness and autonomyDynamism, strong desire to learn, sense of leadershipProactive and positive attitudeExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team, in a high-pressure, constantly evolving environmentAbility to manage multiple tasks with very tight deadlinesKnowledge of the main political and regulatory issues facing an agri-food companyBachelor's degree in a relevant field (with relevant work experience related to the internship)About DanoneHere are some of the reasons whyyou should join our team:Named one of Canada's Top 100 employers for the 4th year in a row!
