<p>Hello ! Located in the east end of Montreal, this company is looking for a warehouse manager.<br><br>Responsibilities :<br><br>-Operations-<br><br>-Responsible for the success of the warehousing operation including overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the team;<br>-Develop and implement changes to operational systems to improve the flow of customer service, order management and the shipping and receiving of customer products on time and in good condition;<br>-Establish and manage key performance indicators and other related metrics, providing timely analysis, reports and recommendations;<br>-Review inventory reports; customer order reports and other available documents and devise plans for current and future fluctuations in warehousing operations;<br>-Oversee the preparation of facility reports and prepare recommendations for procedural improvements and projects;<br>-Act as liaison between the General Manager and the Facility Operations team and keep each informed on policy procedural and performance/production issues;<br>-Manage ongoing relationships and interactions with customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and meet contractual agreements ;<br>-Responsible for warehouse safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and in compliance with the regulations of all OSHA, local and state legislations ;<br>-In charge of negotiating brokerage rates with carriers and with customers, selecting the carrier and scheduling all brokers for the warehouse.<br><br>-Sales-<br><br>-Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity;<br>-Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned;<br>-Prepare sales presentations, proposals and contracts;<br>-Establish and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers;<br>-Identify and resolve customer problems;<br>-Prepare a variety of progress reports, including activity, closings, tracking and meeting targets;<br>-Coordinate company personnel to perform work required to close sales;<br>-Follow up on collection of payments;<br>-Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of goods and services.<br><br>-Team Management-<br><br>-Motivate employees, encouraging optimal productivity;<br>-Assist, advise and expedite conflict resolution procedures;<br>-Ensure ongoing and planned employee evaluations, including salary considerations, promotions and job transfers;<br>-Participate in meetings to improve productivity, resolve customer service issues and manage team workload;<br>-Assist in the training of new employees within the department;<br>-Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with team members and other departments;<br><br>Additional Responsibilities:<br>- Performs other related work as required.</p><p>Requirements :<br><br>-Bilingual (French/English)<br>-College diploma/bachelor's degree in business management with a concentration in operations management, material management or equivalent;<br>-Logistics management designation CITT or P. Log.
