Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Noisy. Tasks: Lay out reference points and patterns. Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements. Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures. Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines. Construct patterns and templates. Install fabricated components in final product. Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite. Equipment and machinery experience: Brakes and presses. Cutting torches. Drills. Grinder. Shears. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Hand-eye co-ordination.
