We are currently seeking a *Electrical Engineer *to join and strengthen our dynamic team. *WHY VTEK:* * *Competitive Salary:* Receive a competitive salary that reflects your expertise and experience. * *Comprehensive Benefits:* Enjoy a flexible group medical insurance plan and a defined contribution pension with employer participation. * *Work-Life Balance:* Benefit from flexible working hours with 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, and a business casual dress code. * *Professional Growth:* Access training tailored to your role and career development needs. * *Innovative Culture:* Join a team that values creativity, quality, and celebrates collective success. *YOUR MISSIONS* * *Engineering Responsibilities:* Provide Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) engineering services, including the ability to stamp designs and specifications within the applicable jurisdiction. * *Review and Approval:* Review, approve, and stamp E&I engineered work packages as required. * *Leadership and Mentorship:* Offer senior leadership and engineering mentorship to the E&I team. * *Project Management:* Manage engineering activities to meet project KPIs, safety, budgets, scope, schedule, and quality standards. * *Planning and Coordination:* Plan, organize, direct, assign, monitor, and coordinate all activities, work, resources, and tools to meet VTEK business objectives. * *Work Package Accuracy:* Ensure engineering work packages are complete, verified, timely, and adequate. * *Technical Accuracy:* Guarantee the technical accuracy and soundness of engineering calculations and compliance with regulatory requirements. * *Stakeholder Coordination:* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated engineering work packages. * *Policy and Procedure Governance:* Review, approve, develop, and implement VTEK?s policies, standards, and procedures for the E&I engineering and design team. * *Problem Resolution:* Identify and resolve technical problems during reviews and provide mitigation strategies for risks or issues. * *Team Development:* Recruit, orient, coach, mentor, and conduct performance assessments. Provide training and development recommendations. * *Continuous Improvement:* Promote and apply lessons learned, continuous improvement initiatives, and best practices. * *Proposal Review:* Review project proposals, analyze engineering parameters, and assess feasibility for stakeholder needs. * *Engineering Alternatives:* Review client engineering proposals and recommend alternatives for specifications, design layout, materials, and quality as needed. * *Design Principles:* Stay updated with the latest engineering design principles, materials, and best practices. * *Business Support:* Support business development with technical expertise, research, quoting, proposals, and presentations. * *Budget Development:* Assist with engineering proposals and develop engineering budgets. * *Resource Planning:* Develop resource plans to meet project and business requirements for sustainability and growth. * *Additional Duties:* Support other duties and participate in VTEK?s strategic and management planning as requested. *IDEAL CANDIDATE* * *Experience:* Extensive experience in Electrical and Instrumentation engineering in oil and gas industry. * *Skills:* Proven leadership and mentoring skills, technical expertise in E&I, and project management capabilities. * *Qualifications:* Relevant engineering degree and certification, with a strong background in regulatory compliance and engineering best practices. *If you?re ready to advance your career with a dynamic and expanding company, apply now to join VTEK Consulting Group Inc. and be a key part of our growth and success!* Job Type: Full-time Schedule: * 8 hour shift Application questi- LocationSherwood Park, AB
