Job Overview We are seeking a talented Makeup Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for beauty and excellent customer service skills. If you are creative, detail-oriented, and enjoy enhancing natural beauty, we want to hear from you! As a makeup artist at GLOW, you are able to provide each guest with unparalleled service and results. You are a passionate learner for cosmetics and spa services, and you will enjoy tailoring each guest?s needs through our specialty services, enhancements, and cosmetic product lines from Glo Skin Beauty. IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL: > Provide cosmetic application to clients in a professional and friendly manner.? > Create an excellent experience for guests through a therapeutic touch and friendly attitude. > You will always safeguard client information and confidentiality .?> Sell products to each guest customized for their needs and skin enhancements in order to hit monthly sales goal. > Attend spa and sales trainings when scheduled.? > Maintain a professional clean appearance of self and follow required uniform guidelines. Keep your assigned areas clean and tidy.? > Available for at least three shifts per week, including one closing shift and Saturdays. Travel for mobile events may be required. ## Responsibilities - Provide professional makeup application for various occasions such as weddings, photo shoots, and special events - Consult with clients to determine their needs and preferences - Stay up-to-date on the latest makeup trends and techniques - Sanitize makeup tools and work area to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards - Upsell products and services to clients - Collaborate with other beauty professionals such as hairstylists for complete looks YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO: > Utilizing your expertise and product knowledge to Glow Day Spa services that will maximize results for each guest.? > Providing an elevated experience for your guests with service and product enhancements.? > A competitive compensation structure with yearly performance reviews and employment growth opportunities.? > Taking advantage of our unique employee benefits and invite family at discounted rates. > Growing with ongoing training and workshops provided by Glow Day Spa and support from key suppliers. REQUIREMENTS: > Completed recently Cosmetics programs or training courses with proof of certificate and references. Experience with Hair styling considered an asset. > Be confident in performing all types of makeup applications i.e. wedding, shows.? > Be able to work weekends and evenings. > Strong communication and excellent customer service skills are always a plus.
