Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Odours. Wet/damp. Dairy. All weather conditions. Dirty. Tasks: Diagnose livestock health issues. Perform livestock feeding. Treat livestock health issues. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Milk cows. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Milking system (automated). Tractor. Loader. Skidsteer. Area of specialization: Dairy cattle. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Physically demanding. Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication.
