Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Sports therapy. Orthopedics. Acute care therapy. Chronic care therapy center. Manipulative therapy. Private practice. Tasks: Assess patients' physical abilities. Supervise technical and support staff. Plan physiotherapy programs. Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Confer with other health professionals. Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients. Administer evaluative tests and procedures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination. Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment. Personal suitability: Punctuality. Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills.
