PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The position of Maintenance Coordinator is a part time position with the Saskatoon CarShare Co-operative (?SCC?). This person is primarily responsible to ensure the carshare vehicles are clean, provisioned and ready for use by members, as well as to process mail and monitor the phone. RESPONSIBILITIES In co-operation with the Board and SCC Coordinator, the Maintenance Coordinator has the following duties and responsibilities: Administration and Communication: * Respond to emergency situations as needed (e.g., calling tow truck for flat tires or accidents) * Fuel receipts and other documentation that are left in car or texted to the phone are to be forwarded to SCC coordinator in a prompt manner * Monitor SCC phone on a daily basis, and pass off to another SCC representative when on holiday or otherwise unavailable for an extended period * Mail fobs to new members Maintenance and Service: * Visit all carshare vehicles at least monthly to verify vehicle readiness * Refuel and clean carshare vehicles as needed * Gather and replenish vehicle supplies as needed * Conduct minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting * Transport vehicles for maintenance or repairs, and rotate vehicles as needed * Deliver cars to shop to change tires over from winter to summer and vice versa WORK SCHEDULE This is a part time position with flexible hours. The number of hours per week to be worked by the Maintenance Coordinator under this agreement is expected to be three hours per week with flexible hours based on your availability. This is a position that can be done on evenings and weekends or whatever times are convenient for the employee. The only exception is emergency member phone calls, such as accidents or vehicle problems, must be attended to promptly when occurring during reasonable hours. If the maintenance coordinator is unable to promptly respond to an urgent matter it is expected they will forward the problem to another person to address as soon as possible.
