Your contributions to the team: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the day to day work activities of the crewDelegate job tasks to appropriate crew members to assist in the completion of projects in a timely mannerOversee the execution of the work, including quality and production, by ensuring that crews work to job specificationsMonitor the use of materials and resources to ensure operations are within budgetSet and maintain work standards and outline behavioral expectations to ensure crew morale and productivityRecognize, address and resolve issues or problems among crewWork with Specialty Teams Supervisor on all field aspects of the project budget, schedule and productivityProvide hands-on assistance and guidance on all construction and renovation projects What you need to be successful: Minimum 5 years experience in residential wood frame construction, repair, and renovationMinimum 3 years supervisory or team lead experienceJourneyperson Carpentry certification an assetKnowledgeable in reading and understanding construction plansDemonstrated ability in carpentry and building maintenanceAble to effectively communicate both verbally and in writingAbility to work well under pressure in a changing environmentWilling and able to travel
