*Job Description:*
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated *Certified Dental Assistant* to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and care of our patients while supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. You will assist dentists in a variety of procedures, maintain dental equipment, and ensure a smooth workflow in our clinic.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparation and sterilization of instruments
* Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist
* Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about procedures
* Maintain accurate patient clinical records
* Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures such as restorative dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontal procedures, oral surgery and oral prophylaxis.
* Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment following infection control protocols
* Ensure the dental office remains clean, well-organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations
*Education:*
* High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
* Completion of a recognized Dental Assisting program (required)
* CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
* Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent certification (required)
*Experience:*
* Fresh graduates can apply as training will be given
*Skills and Abilities:*
* Strong knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and infection control protocols
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff
* Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to multitask
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency with curve dental software and digital X-ray equipment (an asset)
* Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
*Onboarding Process:*
* *Comprehensive Training:* Receive hands-on training in our clinic's procedures, equipment, and patient care standards to ensure you're fully prepared to excel in your role.
* *Initial Evaluation:* During your first three days, an in-person assessment will be conducted to ensure mutual fit and understanding of job requirements. If everything goes smoothly, you will proceed to the next phase.
* *Probation Period:* After the initial assessment, you will enter a three-month probation period where you'll continue to receive guidance and feedback. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, you will be offered a full-time, permanent position with our clinic.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
