Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Supervise laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists and other professionals
  • Supervise biological technologists and technicians and other scientists
  • Produce reports
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Prepare research papers, educational texts or articles
  • Conduct interviews
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia
  • Offer mentoring
  • Present materials at conference or symposium
  • Prepare funding and grant applications and proposals
  • Prepare funding applications
  • Locate funding for the project
