Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or A). First Aid Certificate. Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate. Type of product: Fire protection. Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Bill of lading. Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Type of trucking and equipment: Liquid bulk. Tractor-trailer. Communication systems experience: Citizens band (CB) radio. Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. Trip recorder (on-board computer). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Provincial/territorial. Regional. Short-haul. Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test.
