*About Us*
Tri-Core Projects Ltd. is a Manitoba-based general contractor and construction company. Our operations include demolition, site preparation, excavation, underground service installation, remediation services, telecom, and special projects.
*Position Summary*
A *Project Coordinator* in our *Utilities and Telecom Division* is responsible to administer and organize all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans. This role works closely with Project Managers and Division Managers to prepare action plans, including assisting with resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects.
*Primary Accountabilities *
* Assist with estimates.
* Coordinate equipment, material, and labour resources.
* Track field quantities on day of delivery, compare list of items to the drawings, and submit confirmation to Project Manager.
* Underground utility locating
* Attend project management meetings
* Assist PM with updating MS Project schedules
* Provide onsite takeoffs to Site Supervisor prior to starting new task
* Site documentation (photos, construction plans, daily reports, RFIs, etc?)
* QAQC inspections (i.e. keeping track of restoration sites).
* Assist with project cost and quantity tracking.
* Development and implementation of GPS survey models
* Onsite survey duties, as required.
* Data entry (aggregate tickets, piling records, etc?)
* Administer miscellaneous/small projects (as assigned by the Project Management Team)
*General Accountabilities *
* Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with supervisors, peers, and clients.
* Ability to think logically about work at hand and compare site conditions with project designs.
* Understand construction drawings and specifications.
* Detect errors, determine causes, and make corrections as appropriate.
* Team player, able to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal.
* Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, and lift 50 lbs.
* Ability to work independently and self-motivated.

* *Negotiation Skills:* Savvy in negotiation to resolve conflicts and provide any needed information.
* *Time Management:* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines effectively.
* *Adaptability:* Flexibility to adapt to evolving surveying practices with industry changes and embrace new technologies or methodologies.
* *Ethical Standards:* Upholding ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
*Qualifications*
* 1 ? 3 years experience as a Project Coordinator
* Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology Diploma, or Bachelor of Technology, Construction Management degree.
* Combination of education and experience will be considered
* Preference will be given to those with underground experience
*Working conditions:*
* Fast paced work environment.
* Ability to flex working hours, including evenings and weekends to meet the demands of the role.
* Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
* Ability to work remotely for extended periods of time.
*Reporting to: *Division Manager
*Hours of Work:* 7:00 am ? 5:00 pm (subject to change based on work schedule and season).
