PurposeContributes to the overall success of Collateral Trading, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. What You'll Do: Help manage a portfolio of risk assets. Build the infrastructure and provide analysis for profit/loss and risk associated with managing various products. Perform asset allocation analysis while taking into account risk-weighted returns and return on capital. Fulfil and optimize the bank's collateral requirements including variation margin, initial margin and exchange margin. Create and execute trade packages to reduce initial margin and build out the infrastructure to participate in multilateral initial margin reduction services. Work with treasury and trading teams across capital markets to build and execute fund transfer pricing programs in a fair and consistent manner. Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Champions a high performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Math, Engineering, or other relevant fields Minimum of 3 years of work experience in capital markets, portfolio/asset management or treasury Experience with Programming in any language (e.g. Python) is an asset Experience with fixed income, FX, or derivative products is an assetWork Arrangement: This position is currently an on-site role, with the expectation that you will work at least 4 days a week in the office.
