We invite you to use your skills with us and contribute to something meaningful and enduring.The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Sr. Project Excellence Specialist to join our Projects team in Toronto or Sudbury.This is a permanent hybrid position. As a/an Senior Project Excellence Specialist**, you will support Capital Projects across Canada by developing sustainable business systems to address key performance and technical excellence challenges. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement, knowledge management, quality and change management, and data analysis to meet project department and corporate governance needs. You will also drive the implementation of the Vale Management Model (VPS) and ensure adherence to project management practices and requirements, fostering project delivery, efficiency and excellence. Additionally, in this position you will: Be an advocate for the safety, health and environmental sustainability of the organization.Champion continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on optimizing processes and embedding knowledge management routines across the projects departmentLead the implementation and adherence to the Vale Production System (VPS), ensuring it is integrated effectively into project workflows to drive operational excellence.Collaborate with various departments to establish synergies, standardize processes, and promote knowledge sharing related to VPS and continuous improvement efforts.Develop and monitor knowledge management frameworks that enhance the organization's ability to retain and leverage critical project insights.Conduct VPS adherence checks and prepare detailed evaluation reports to assess progress and identify opportunities for further improvement.Support risk management activities within the VPS framework, ensuring they align with continuous improvement practices and enhance project outcomes.Provide actionable feedback to refine standards and procedures, ensuring they reflect the latest best practices in VPS, continuous improvement, and knowledge management.
