Education: Bachelor's degree. Work site environment: Interior. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Tasks: Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Develop and prepare design sketches. Examine drawings for conformity and errors. Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements. Survey building locations and levels. Examine plans, drawings and site layouts. Develop survey plans, methods and procedures for conducting legal surveys. Conduct or direct surveys or survey programs. Plan and design water and waste management systems. Oversee the preparation of site plans, reports and land use studies. Oversee the preparation of detailed drawings of sites. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AutoCAD Certification. Type of drafting: Detailing drafting. Presentation drawings. Computer and technology knowledge: Computer-aided design (CAD). AutoCAD. MS Office. Area of specialization: Cartographic drafting. Survey. Drafting. Survey specialization: Land survey.
