We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Business Development to drive the growth and expansion of our services, with a specific focus on Diagnostic Imaging (DI). This role is pivotal in sourcing, developing, and closing new business opportunities, particularly through establishing and nurturing partnerships with clinical organizations.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Leadership and Team Management:*
* Lead and mentor business development professionals.
* Set performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and development.
* Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
*Business Development Strategy:*
* Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for growth in Diagnostic Imaging, medical imaging, diagnostic, and clinical services.
* Identify and prioritize target clinical organizations and key decision-makers within the Diagnostic Imaging field.
* Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide business development efforts specific to Diagnostic Imaging.
*Relationship Management:*
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical organizations such as hospitals, clinics, and physician groups, with a focus on Diagnostic Imaging services.
* Cultivate partnerships with key stakeholders in the Diagnostic Imaging sector to drive business opportunities.
* Represent Medicine Place Pharmacy Plus at industry events and conferences relevant to Diagnostic Imaging.
*Sales and Negotiation:*
* Lead sales efforts from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure, focusing on Diagnostic Imaging services.
* Develop compelling proposals and presentations that highlight our value proposition in Diagnostic Imaging.
* Negotiate favourable terms and conditions for new business agreements.
*Reporting and Analysis:*
* Track and report on business development activities and progress within the Diagnostic Imaging domain.
* Analyze sales data and identify trends to inform strategic decision-making.
* Prepare regular reports for senior management.
*Execution:*
* Liaise with Managing Director, Pharmacy Operations, Director of Pharmacy Programs and Services, Clinical Team, and Organizational Leadership.
* Support the growth of pharmacy operations and profitability across all regions with a focus on Diagnostic Imaging.
* Maintain knowledge of pharmacy and nursing operating guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory mandates.
* Lead data-driven analysis to diagnose current states and model future business performance in Diagnostic Imaging.
*Qualifications:*
*Education & Experience:*
* Bachelor?s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within the healthcare industry.
* Proven track record of sourcing and closing new business deals, with experience in Diagnostic Imaging highly desirable.
*Skills and Attributes:*
* Strong leadership abilities with a warm, direct, and growth-minded approach.
* Superior management skills and the ability to influence and engage peers.
* Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive, collaborative, and flexible approach.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and work non-traditional hours as needed.
* Valid driver?s license and willingness to travel for business.
