Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Establish client insurance coverage. Establish method of payment. Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed. Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries. Provide customer service. Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid and other policy features. Supervision: No supervision responsibility. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) licence. Insurance experience: Property/casualty insurance. Commercial insurance. Individual insurance. Automobile insurance. Fire insurance. House insurance. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Sitting. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have the above-indicated required certifications?. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
