Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Construction. Various locations. Renovation. Residential. Tasks: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Supervise other workers. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Overtime required. Physically demanding. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus. Judgement. Reliability. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Workplace information: On the road job.
