Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Metal product fabrication industry. Tasks: Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Equipment and machinery experience: Brakes. Drills. Shears. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Metal forming or shaping operations experience: Bending. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Organized. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
