Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Act as project or site supervisor for land survey or construction work. Conduct site visits to gather relevant information . Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team and conduct research to determine project requirements. Develop construction specifications and procedures. Establish and monitor construction work schedules. Interpret, review and approve survey and civil design work. Provide customer service. Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates. Offer mentoring. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. MS Excel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods.
