Taking direction from and reporting to the Shift Lead, this position involves activities related to the painting of pipe products. Works well with others in a safe and efficient manner and understands the importance of quality and good communication.
*Responsibilities:*
* Painting of pipe products, both online and off-line crop pieces.
* Visual inspection of painted product to assess quality of coating applied.
* Understand paint mixing recipe and requirements.
* Mix paint as required throughout the shift and ensure enough paint is mixed for beginning of next shift prior to end of shift.
* Perform regular maintenance on the painting equipment and related HVAC equipment.
* Communicate stock needs (related to laborer activities) to shift lead as required.
* Follow all Bri-Steel policies and procedures that relate to the machine assigned.
* Use overhead crane.
* Perform all machine checks effectively.
* Effectively set all machine related equipment parameters prior to operation.
* Complete all appropriate documentation related to production.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Other related duties as outlined by Shift Lead.
*Experience:*
* Diversified background would be an asset including:
* General safe working procedures.
* Safe overhead crane operation and awareness.
Starting wage is $23.00 an hour with a wage adjust after 3 months.
Monday to Thursday work week
Must be able to work Day & Night Shift
