We are a Law Firm located on Bay Street near Bloor Street in Toronto, Ontario. We are a boutique firm that provides legal services to our clients in the areas of Corporate, Commercial, Estates, and Civil Litigation. We offer a pleasant working environment, excellent training, and a rewarding experience to the right candidates.
We have two positions available for permanent part-time Administrative Assistants to work the hours of 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm and occasional weekends to witness execution of documents by clients. The successful candidates must speak English, be computer literate, have a good academic background, and have strong verbal, reading, and writing skills. Facilitating in the Cantonese and Mandarin languages is not necessary but would be an asset.
Duties include:
Administrative duties (i.e. answering the phone, photocopying, scanning, filing, arranging appointments);
Transcribing dictation;
Taking minutes during meetings with clients; and
Assisting in preparing and organizing legal documents (i.e. Affidavits, Productions, Discovery Briefs)
