Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Commercial dental laboratory. Tasks: Design dental devices. Modify dental devices including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps and bands. Area of specialization: Orthodontic appliances. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Ability to distinguish between colours. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Hand-eye co-ordination. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Team player.
