The Operations Scheduler/Dispatcher will assist in the tracking and deployment of security staff and handle a variety of dispatch duties including incident call taking.Position: Branch Scheduler (Kingston) Site: Kingston Office Hours: Monday to Friday 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Pay Rate: $18.00Why Choose Paladin:Extensive Paid Industry TrainingBenefits & Other PerksOpportunities for Growth & AdvancementJob Description:Communicates information to Clients and Security Staff using telecommunications systems and equipment, through email and phone callsAnswers calls received by Hospital Staff, Security Staff and General Public and dispatch Security Staff accordinglyInteracts with Police, the Fire Department, and EMS if requiredUpdate and maintains Security Staff schedules as changes arise during shift as well as filling shifts as vacancies ariseStrategically plan schedules to utilize resources effectively and efficiently to avoid unnecessary overtimeProvide information to staff as requested regarding additional shifts, coverages, and shift availability/locationsConsistently update management with accurate daily Open Shift LogsCreate, update, and modify work schedules for Security Guards within Paladin Security for Ottawa and KingstonQualifications:Working knowledge of the Security industry is an assetProficient in MS Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsSuperior customer service skillsAbility to work under pressureComfortable working independently and as part of a teamWorking knowledge of ESA, Human Rights, and Labour RelationsNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
