Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Manufacture. Custom cabinet shop. Tasks: Set up, program and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines. Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures and other wood products. Operate preset special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Replace parts as required. Equipment and machinery experience: Computerized woodworking machine. Drills. Routers. Sanders. Saws. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Area of specialization: Cabinets. Kitchen cabinets and vanities. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail.
