Kings Energy Group is searching for a motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Lloydminster, Alberta. This is a full-time in-person position between the hours of 9:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

*Position Summary *
Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting and Corporate Services the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records related to customer accounts. This role involves processing invoices, monitoring payments, and ensuring timely collection of receivables. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and possess strong analytical skills. The candidate must have experience with Cortex.
*Duties and Responsibilities *
* Generate, review, and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
* Track and record incoming payments, reconcile accounts, and follow up on overdue accounts.
* Address customer inquiries regarding billing, payment status, and account discrepancies.
* Regularly review and reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.
* Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging, and cash flow projections.
* Maintain accurate and organized records of transactions, communications, and payments.
* Work closely with the finance team and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
* Other duties may be assigned as required.
*Qualifications *
* A minimum of 5 years of accounts receivable experience is preferred.
* 2-3 years' experience working with Cortex is required.
* A college diploma in business accounting qualification or equivalent is required.
* Possess advanced Excel skills.
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
* High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
* Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
