Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Dusty. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Clean and lubricate cranes. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Instruct apprentices. Assemble tower cranes on site. Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites. Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Operate cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move and place equipment and materials. Operate dragline cranes to expose coal seams and ore deposits at open pit mines. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Personal protective equipment (PPE) training. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Residential. Underground and tunnel work. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure.
