*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a passionate and creative *Marketing Assistant* to join our team. In this role, you will help promote our mission and vision, supporting our marketing efforts to engage the community, build awareness, and drive our initiatives forward. You will work closely with the marketing lead to create content, manage social media, and assist with various campaigns that align with our mission of creating hope and empowering change.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies that promote our mission and engage the community.
* Manage social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
* Create and distribute marketing materials such as newsletters, flyers, and blog posts.
* Support in organizing community events and campaigns to promote social connection and raise awareness about homelessness and hunger.
* Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance and community engagement.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
* Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on trends to enhance our outreach efforts.
*Qualifications:*
* A passion for community service and aligning with our vision of *Sharing Hope, Inspiring Community, and Empowering Each Other*.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in marketing, social media management, or content creation is a plus.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Creativity and an eye for detail in designing marketing materials.
* Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Canva, MailChimp, social media scheduling tools).
