Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. Tasks: Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.). Hire and train or arrange for training of staff. Authorize payments by cheque. Order merchandise. Establish work schedules. Sell merchandise. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Organize and maintain inventory. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Manage cash. Train workers in duties and policies. Schedule work. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Prepare and submit reports. Ensure smooth operation of equipment. Ensure accuracy of financial transactions. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Schedule events, programs and activities. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail.
