The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI. The ideal applicant will possess a robust background in data analysis, data visualization, and proficient database management.</p><p><strong><span class="long-word">Responsibilities/Major</span> Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Design and craft Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations tailored to meet specific business requirements.</li><li>Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to comprehend their data analysis needs and translate them into precise technical specifications.</li><li>Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into Power BI, ensuring smooth integration and optimal performance.</li><li>Develop and uphold data models, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and scalability to facilitate insightful decision-making.</li><li>Execute data cleansing and transformation processes to maintain data integrity and consistency across the platform.</li><li>Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards to enhance performance and usability, delivering an exceptional user experience.</li><li>Conduct thorough data analysis and provide actionable insights to support informed business decision-making.</li><li>Identify and troubleshoot data-related issues within Power BI, implementing effective solutions to ensure seamless operations.</li><li>Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in Power BI and data visualization, incorporating them into our solutions.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to seamlessly integrate Power BI solutions into existing systems and workflows.</li><li>Provide comprehensive training and support to end-users on Power BI usage and functionality.</li><li>Document technical specifications, data models, and data flows to maintain clear and organized documentation.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Proven track record as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in creating impactful BI solutions (portfolio of dashboards/reports will be appreciated).</li><li>Strong command over Power BI tools, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX.</li><li>Proficiency in SQL and adeptness in database management, enabling efficient data retrieval and manipulation.</li><li>Experience in data modelling and familiarity with data visualization best practices, ensuring compelling and insightful reports.</li><li>Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders and team members.</li><li>Exposure to Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, would be advantageous.</li><li>Familiarity with SAP data models (S/4HANA, BW) is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, ideally with experience in Azure DevOps.</li></ul><p><strong>Academic Background</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for technical expertise and problem-solving skills.</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>At SapienX, we are passionate about delivering tangible results to complex, multi-disciplinary problems requiring business acumen, state-of-the-art technology and change management skills.
