Education: Bachelor's degree. Social work, general. Development economics and international development. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Business and/or industry. University or college. Community-based agency. Private employment service agency. Tasks: Assess need for assistance, such as rehabilitation, financial aid or further training . Interview clients to obtain employment history, educational background and career goals. Refer clients to the appropriate external services. Supervise other counsellors, social service staff and assistants. Identify barriers to employment and assist clients with such matters as job readiness skills, job search strategies, writing résumés and preparing for job interviews. Perform administrative tasks. Advise employers on human resource and other employment-related issues. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you available for the advertised start date?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.- LocationNew Westminster, BC
