We are a growing healthcare organization with several clinics within the Greater Toronto Area. Our organization provides a wide spectrum of medical services and products within the healthcare industry. We are currently looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist to join our busy Multidisciplinary clinic located in Thornhill. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to join a growing healthcare organization and build their career. *RESPONSIBILITIES* * Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data * Answering incoming calls and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller?s needs yourself * Assist patients to complete all necessary forms * Scheduling appointments for new and recurring patients * Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and to help them schedule testing for off-site services * Maintaining patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating person and financial information * Process payments, patient billing, and medical insurance claims * Inform patients of medical office procedures and policies * Respond and comply to requests for information * Maintain and manage patient records * Handle mail and faxes *QUALIFICATIONS* * Experience with EHC, MVA, WSIB, ODSP, and Slip & Fall * Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations * Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills * Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task * Passionate about healthcare excellence * Excellent customer service skills * Exceptional communication skills * Time management * Professionalism * Organization * Flexibility * Reliable SALARY RANGE: Based on experience.
