*Role Summary:*
As a *Technical Sales Representative* at Stormtec, you will manage inbound sales inquiries, nurture relationships with existing clients, and prospect for new business. While the role involves interpreting technical documents and designing tailored water management solutions, you don't need to be an expert right away. We're looking for someone with a strong willingness to learn, and we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed. *Compensation & Benefits:*
· Base Salary Range $65,000 - $80,000 depending on qualifications

*Key Responsibilities:*
· Respond to inbound sales inquiries, reviewing client documents and designing solutions with training and guidance from our team
· Prepare detailed quotes and proposals, ensuring timely and accurate responses to client requests
· Collaborate with the project management team to ensure smooth transitions from sales to execution
· Track win rates, diagnose reasons for losing bids, work with sales management to improve the ratio of wins to loses
· Manage existing client accounts to ensure repeat business and foster long-term partnerships
· Prospect for new business and develop relationships in key sectors (e.g., construction, industrial, energy sectors)
· Meet or exceed revenue and gross profit targets
*What You Bring:*
· A willingness and aptitude to learn technical concepts related to water management systems, including dewatering, sediment control, and filtration solutions. Prior knowledge in these areas is helpful but not required
· The ability to interpret technical documents (e.g., ESC plans, geotechnical reports), with full training provided
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills
· An aptitude for organizing tasks and handling multiple projects at once
· Experience in fluid mechanics or mechanical systems is a plus, however candidates with the right mindset and technical aptitude will receive the training needed to succeed
· Experience in the construction industry in sales, estimating, project management, or related fields is a plus, but not a requirement
*Qualifications: *
*Required:*
· 3 ? 5 years minimum experience in professional sales, estimating, or project management
· Strong aptitude for learning technical concepts.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and ERP/CRM systems.
· Solid grasp of core B2B business principles, including a working understanding of procurement and sales practices and versed in revenue, cost structures (e.g., COGS), and profit margins.
*Preferred:*
· Experience in professional B2B sales, client management, or territory management.
· Familiarity with dewatering, sediment control, or water treatment systems (an asset but not required).
