More than just a job, we offer rewarding careers.Job DescriptionReporting to the Group Senior Vendor Manager, this role will support the development and execution of an Industry leading effective vendor management program within TDI. In partnership with strategic sourcing, and the claims operational leadership the incumbent will be responsible for the development and implementation of Vendor performance management initiatives creating better value for TDI Customers, Employees and Shareholders. In addition, ensure compliance to TDI risk and expense policies and procedures The incumbent will provide ongoing professional and specialized support on all vendor activities to all business areas as required.The general accountabilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:Lead a team of vendor management professionals that manage Third Party Business ArrangementsEnsure each vendor manager on team has obtained appropriate training based on their job accountability, including onboarding training if requiredGrow team expertise to align with business/enterprise demand and direction; assess team skills and capabilities and continually look for ways to provide and enhance the value deliveredLead a high performing team; provide on-going feedback and performance reviews, coach and develop employees and ensure performance management activities are undertaken and completed for all employeesShare knowledge, information, skills, and subject matter expertise among the team and ensure the timely communication of issues and encourage good working relationships with other functions and teamsEnsure all customer needs are considered during sourcing activities and sign-off is obtained from the key stakeholders when major decisions are made, or contracts are awardedBuild and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key vendors for TDIEnsure the prompt and thorough resolution of all customer issues and recommend improvements that arise from monitoring and tracking customer issuesAct as the primary interface with the business and lead, influence or intervene in vendor negotiations on behalf of internal clients when necessaryDevelop and maintain a good understanding of assigned business units, their objectives, and upcoming projects to communicate better op
