Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Confined spaces. Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Construction. Various locations. Renovation. Residential. Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair. Tasks: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate.
