You will ensure the integrity of welded components when performing various welding tasks, mainly for the Montreal plant, and occasionally for other plants in North America.</p><p><strong>Our client offers you :</strong></p><ul><li>See unique welding and manufacturing applications;</li><li>A competitive salary, accompanied by an annual bonus;</li><li>A comprehensive group insurance program, with a group RRSP with employer contribution;</li><li>Be an integral part of the evolution of a world-class organization;</li><li>The chance to interact with several business units, teams and stakeholders;</li><li>Laptop provided.</li></ul><p><strong>If the following describes you :</strong></p><ul><li>Professional studies diploma in welding-assembly;</li><li>5 to 7 years of proven experience as a welding specialist;</li><li>Very good knowledge of welding equipment and materials used to weld and fabricate metal components;</li><li>Mastery of various welding processes, including (GTAW, SMAW, GMAW / FCAW / SAW and PAW);</li><li>Ability to read and interpret WPS / PQR, welding symbols and technical drawings;</li><li>Possess relevant welding certifications (e.g. CWB or AWS Certified Welding Inspector / Supervisor), an asset;</li><li>Good knowledge of welding codes such as ASME, ASTM and military, an asset;</li><li>Bilingualism French-English (oral and written).</li></ul><p><strong></strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong><span> </span>Montreal</p> <br> <p><strong>Here are some of the aspects for which you will be responsible :</strong></p><ul><li>Analyze and optimize welding procedures to improve efficiency, productivity and quality;</li><li>Ensure the quality and integrity of welded components by inspecting welding;</li><li>Identify welding issues and implement measures;</li><li>Provide data and support to management to ensure productivity is compliant;</li><li>Respect and enforce all safety protocols and procedures;</li><li>Participate in maintaining welding activity records;</li><li>Work closely with the welding engineer, engineering, production, planning and quality assurance and control teams.</li></ul>
