Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Other vegetables and melon farming (except potato). Outdoors. Wet/damp. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Apply the technique of hoeing between the row. Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Weeding. Clean work area. Harvest crops. Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Perform general farm duties. Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings. Clean and maintain work space. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Type of crops: Carrots. Onions. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Standing for extended periods.
