*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to interpret schematics and assemble various components. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. The Welder will be responsible for ensuring high-quality welds and maintaining safety standards throughout the production process. *Responsibilities* - Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including MIG and plasma cutting. - Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications without overages or wasted material. - Assemble components according to design requirements and specifications. Including retrieving material from yard for project, cutting pieces for project, assembling pieces to complete project. - Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. - Conduct quality checks on completed welds to ensure they meet industry standards and shop specifications. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols. - Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals. *Qualifications* - Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. - Strong understanding of welding techniques and processes. - Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. -CWB Certification is a plus. - Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required. - Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. (Supply your own welding helmet, coveralls, steel toed boots.) - Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Willingness to adhere to safety regulations and practices at all times.
