*Job Overview* We are looking for a licensed veterinary technologist to help elevate our standard of care and partner with our veterinarians. *Responsibilities* - Induce and maintain patients under anesthesia with veterinarian support - Collect and run blood work, cytology, and urinalysis - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians - Take radiographs of cats, horses, dogs, and chickens - Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients - Educate clients on pet care and medication administration - Maintain accurate medical records *Qualifications* - Certification or Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology - A sense of humor and passion for life outside of work - A willingness to teach and be taught in a supportive environment - Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is preferred Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Store discount * Tuition reimbursement * Wellness program Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday Application question(s): * What draws you to veterinary medicine?
