Duties and Responsibilities-Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on vehicles.-Adjust, repair or replace parts and components including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems among others. Qualifications-Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician-Must hold a valid drivers license-Must have your own tools Skills And AbilitiesEssential Skills- Reading and Writing- Oral communication- Working with others- Job task planning and organizing- Finding information- Computer use- Continuous learning Additional Skills-Complete reports to record problems and work performed-Coach and instruct apprentices-Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor-Estimate parts and labour costs Automotive Service Technician Specific Skills-Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements-Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems-Perform scheduled maintenance service- Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components-Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications- LocationSwift Current, SK
