*Role Description* The Production Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the manufacturing process on a daily basis. This includes translating customer order expectations into specific production requirements, coordinating resources, and overseeing the production process to meet scheduled delivery timelines for parts and products. *Key Accountabilities * ? Plan, schedule, and direct production activities for optimal execution. ? Monitor and follow up with the third party vendors to ensure all work orders meet deadlines. ? Ensure the shop is equipped with the necessary tools, materials, and workforce for efficient production. ? Verify the accuracy and completeness of work orders and purchase orders to avoid discrepancies. ? Prevent non-conforming tools or gauges from being used in the manufacturing and QC processes. ? Coordinate with the manufacturing team to meet scheduled goals and deliverables. ? Purchase adequate supplies and tooling to maintain smooth shop operations. ? Ensure all parts are manufactured according to design specifications. ? Create and receive purchase orders promptly to maintain workflow efficiency. ? Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs. ?
