Whether a garden is for supplying families, grocers, communities or manufacturers we are there. *THE POSITION*We are looking for highly motivated, and hardworking individuals to work in our warehouse. Successful candidates will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work on multiple tasks and be a team player. This is a dynamic position and primarily includes tasks related to the production, packing, and shipping of our seeds and perishables to our customers all over Canada. *RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE* * Prepare, package and perform quality control on seed orders - Fulfilling customer orders in a timely fashion, with a focus on accuracy * Prepare, package and perform quality control on perishable stock (roots, bulbs, trees, shrubs) * Unload and stock shipments * Shipment related tasks -packing and labeling * Help maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse *REQUIREMENTS* * Strong attention to detail and a strong work ethic * Ability to work independently and be a positive team player * Warehouse experience an asset * Ability to follow detailed instructions * Excellent organization and multi-tasking * Ability to lift 50lbs * Must be able to work on your feet for all or majority of your shift in a fast-paced environment * Ability to record data, stay organized and keep track of assigned tasks * Must love dogs!
