SCHOOL DISTRICT #27 (CARIBOO-CHILCOTIN) Phone: (778) 799-2962 Email: iuoepost@sd27.bc.ca June 19, 2024<p><p> EXTERNAL POSITION<p><p>Posting #: S-2024-0110 PERMANENT Position: CERTIFIED TRADES - PLUMBER<p><p>Location: MAINTENANCE WILLIAMS LAKE<p>12 mos., 40.00 hours/week. <p><p>Duration: This position will work out of Williams Lake and may also have duties assigned in other<p>areas of the District. <p>Rate of Pay: Level 1: 35.14 Level 2: 38.00<p><p>Threshold Qualifications: ? Valid BC Driver's License - Class 5 ? Physically fit and capable of performing all assigned duties ? Valid BC Tradesman Certificate ? Valid BC Gas Certification ? Current knowledge of all provincial and municipal codes or regulations that have a direct<p>bearing on this trade ? Sufficient knowledge of the heating trade to carry out required duties ? Proven ability to read and understand plans and/or blueprints<p><p>Desirable Qualifications: ? Back Flow Connections certificate ? Sprinkler Fitter certificate ? Small water system certificate<p><p>Duties Include, but are not limited to: ? Maintain a current knowledge of all provincial and municipal codes or regulations that have a<p>direct bearing on this trade ? Inspect, install, modify, repair and maintain all inside and outside water distribution systems<p>and fixtures, sewers, septic tanks and lagoons ? Inspect, install, modify, repair and maintain all gas and oil fired mechanical and forced air<p>heating systems, gas lines and regulators ? Carry out preventative maintenance inspections of facilities and fixtures ? Erect and use ladders and scaffolds as required ? Ensure an adequate supply of repair parts and materials by submitting lists to supervisors ? Ensure safety procedures are observed at all times ? Perform other operations and maintenance functions as directed<p><p>Fringe benefits are as provided in the current Union Agreement.
