We are currently looking for a part-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our Langley (near Willowbrook Mall) team. The ideal candidate will: · Have at least one year of experience as a pharmacy assistant in a Canadian community pharmacy setting (preferably British Columbia pharmacy experience) · Assist the pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions · Evaluate legality, interpret and input all prescriptions, labels and consent forms to ensure patient information is up to date and in the pharmacy?s computer system · Complete documentations such as third-party management and reconciliation, filling prescriptions, printing, invoices, etc. · Assist with answering the phone, check voicemail, and emails. · Monitor inventory levels and identify approaching and critical expiry dates · Assist with cashier responsibilities as required · Have strong communication skills in English- both writing and verbal · Have excellent customer service skills · Maintain a positive attitude when tasked with responsibilities · Be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize various tasks perform light cleaning activities · Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager (Experience with WinRx is an asset).
