\*\*Job Overview:\*\* We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers, providing an excellent guest experience. \*\*Duties:\*\* - Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine - Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations - Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment - Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age - Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system - Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed \*\*Requirements:\*\* - Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry - Knowledge of food safety regulations - Strong math skills for handling payments and making drink recipes - Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Time management skills to ensure timely service Nice-to-have skills: - Familiarity with food handling procedures - Experience in cashiering Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Expected hours: 20 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay * Tips Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Night shift * Weekends as needed Experience: * Serving: 1 year (required) * Bartending: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Smart Serve (required) Work Location: In person- LocationAmherstburg, ON
