<p>Temporary Full-Time Early Learning Educator <p>Horace Allen School <p>Horace Allen School located in Coleman, Alberta is seeking to employ the very best school based staff in Alberta! We believe in a team approach to learning that creates a safe and caring, student centered environment where everyone is encouraged to achieve to their highest capabilities. If you believe in contributing to a supportive caring learning environment for students we are looking for you to join our team. This position will commence January 6, 2025 and end June 26, 2025 with a possibility of continuing into the 2025-26 school year.<p>The successful candidate will have knowledge of child development and the importance of play. <p>The successful candidate will have:<p><p> Early Childhood Educator certification <p> Current Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search<p> Current Intervention Record Check <p><p>Desired Qualifications and Attributes:<p><p> Provide a play based learning environment guided by Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework<p> Provide a Reggio-inspired program in an inclusive environment. <p> Ability to work collaboratively with the Early Learning Learning Support teacher and the school principal/ designate.<p> Local knowledge and experience with culture and traditions <p> Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and staff <p> A willingness to participate in professional learning activities<p> Strong written and verbal communication skills <p> Valid First Aid certificate<p> Knowledge of, and an ability to ensure that Alberta Child Care Licensing Regulations are followed <p> Computer skills (access government based documents; record keeping; communication with families) <p><p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.<p>We thank all applicants for their interest in this position; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
