Salary: $29 per hour for 37.5 hours per week, plus sales commission and bonus
Location: Halifax, NS
*Main Duties and Responsibilities: *
? Review and update credit and loan files;
? Promote the sale of credit solution and credit protection;
? Respond to prospective customer queries about financial planning;
? Provide financial expertise to customers and provide optimal customer relationship;
? Interview and identify financing applicants by phone or in person for all credit solution for individual and small business;
? Research and evaluate loan applicant's financial status, references, credit and ability to repay the loan;
? Develop an in-depth knowledge of organisational products and process;
? Discover and discuss needs-based financial solution opportunities and proactively promote deposit and investment products and services;
? Assist clients by proposing solutions to address financial objectives such as debt management, business expansion, investment and other financial goal;
? Coordinate with clients to complete account applications and collect support documents;
? Maintain awareness of latest legislative changes that may affect credit decisions;
? Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, marketing events, execution, evaluation, and sustainment of initiatives;
? Monitor and produce periodic client base report, credit product report, etc. from client management system to help consultant within the division to identify potential credit and lines of business opportunies;
? Conduct educational seminar both internally and externally to raise credit solution awareness;
? Prospecting and develop new relationship and account;
? Maintaining and servicing existing relationship and cross selling opportunities;
? Collaborate within the regional office and division, such as MPS, WPS and other consultants;
? Assist with budget preparation and planning;
? Continue learning and following the latest industry change and knowledge;
? Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
? Some travel is required (20-30%)
*Qualifications:*
? Minimum a university degree or college diploma in business administration, commerce, economics or a related field is required.
? Minimum 5 years of relevant experience is required.
? Strong knowledge of financial products, lending processes and loan documentation, and supporting policies, procedures, and technologies.
? Strong experience with customer sales and service.
? English is required, other language speakers are considered as an asset.
? Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
