Come and join our growing team of wellness professionals! We are looking for passionate Foot Care Nurses to work with existing patients in our clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality and advanced foot care services that promote healthy lower limbs and that prevent foot complications to the clinic?s patients. Our services are offered _*in our modern clinic facility*_ equipped with state-of-the-art technologies. All tools and medical supplies are provided, and we do all the instrument sterilization. *Status:* Independent Contract Position ? Part Time positions available - Competitive Pay Plan *Responsibilities:* * Provide nursing lower limb and foot assessments. Develop personalized treatment care plans and provide appropriate treatments. * Provide patients with the appropriate care and treatment (care must be within the nurse?s scope of practice) * Observe and document all assessments and treatments in the clinic?s EMR system * Refer patients as needed to other health care practitioners as needed * Implement all IPAC best practices and guidelines when providing care and treatments * Ensure proper sterilization techniques for all foot care instruments and tools * Participate in continuous professional educational opportunities *Qualifications:* * Current Registration with good standings with the College of Nurses of Ontario * Professional Liability insurance (RNAO, WeRPN, CNPS, etc.) * Advanced Nursing Foot Care certificate is required * Knowledge of wound care, lower limb circulatory diseases, and diabetes management considered a strong asset * Excellent oral and written English communication skills * Excellent time management skills * Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills * Experience with writing reports and referrals to other health care providers * Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting * Ability to work independently and use their nursing process (clinical judgement) at all times * Computer skills to use an Electronic Medical Records system (training provided) _Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients by promoting healthy feet and enhancing overall quality of life!_ _We thank all those who apply.
