Bronswerk manages the entire process, from design to commissioning, installation and in-service support. ??? ? Bronswerk Marine has been selected as the Tier-1 supplier of HVAC-R services on the AOPS (Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ship) and CSC (Canadian Surface Combatant) programs, part of the Canada?s National Shipbuilding Strategy project, being constructed in Halifax Shipyard in Halifax NS. *??? ?* *What will be your role?* Reporting to the *Project Manager* the *Warehouse Supervisor* is responsible for organizing and controlling all materials and equipment needed by Bronswerk for execution of the shipbuilding programs, including:? * Arranging the warehouse and its inventory * Coordinating maintenance of logistics equipment (forklift, vehicles, trailers, tools etc.) * Coordinating building upkeep * Managing new stock coming into the facility * Picking, packing, and shipping orders * Tracking and documentation of material through the logistics process * Tracking and improving warehouse performance * Supervising the warehouse employee(s) * Maintaining min/max inventory of bulk and consumable materials ??? ? *Your challenge:* *Inventory Management:* * Planning and supervising the warehouse and the inventory day-to-day * Using and supporting the continuous development of inventory tracking systems using Excel and the ERP system * Setting up a warehouse storage plan * Setting up and implementing a warehouse safety plan * Ensuring the warehouse is properly managed and maintained * Assisting with the storage of parts and equipment in warehouse * Managing general procurement / tracking of office and warehouse supplies ??? ? *Shipping, Receiving, Handling:* Working closely with the Warehouse employee(s): * Assisting with their daily tasks when needed, * Verifying the condition of the goods received, photographing, and quarantining any items that do not meet specifications * Completing receiving in the ERP system * QA/QC materials received with help of Engineers * Labelling and tracking of received equipment * Install protection on equipment * Opening the crates and verifying the goods received match the packing slips (part, part number, dimensions, etc.) * Perform scheduled maintenance on stored equipment * Sorting and packing materials and delivering to yard upon receiving order ??? ? *What candidate profile are we looking for?* * 2-3 years experience in similar role; Comfortable with working in an industrial environment * Completion of secondary (high) school or equivalent; * Basic knowledge of ERP (an asset). * Team player, ability to mobilize others, and a sense of initiative. * Highly organized * Punctual and reliable * Forklift Certification or availability to obtain certification; * Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel essential; * Basic knowledge of power tools (circular saw, drill) * Physically fit and able to lift at least 50 LBS; _All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and a Canadian Government Security clearance._ *??? ?* *Why work for Bronswerk?* * Salary starting from $75,000 * Group Insurance: Life, Dental, Health, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability * Retirement Program * Bonus Program * Wellness Program * Daytime Job * Happy Hours, Teambuilding activities and more ??? ? *#BWP1* Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $75,000.00 per year Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Company events * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Life insurance * RRSP match * Vision care * Wellness program Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person- LocationDartmouth, NS
